Dan Pezze
President, Chief Executive Officer
Dan began his insurance career in 1979 with Pega Insurance and Financial Services in Albany, New York. Dan was appointed Managing Director in 1989 and purchased the company in 1994 and took over roles as the CEO.
In February of 2010, Dan opened Empire Region Insurance Agency as the Principal and CEO.
Dan is a 1979 graduate of SUNY Geneseo, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science, Past Adjunct Professor at the College of St. Rose, completed Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), 1980 graduate Hartford School for Agents - Hartford Ins. Co., 1981 graduate of Commercial Union School for Agents- Commercial Lines, Top Producer Club, Pega Agent of the Year, Past Board member Guilderland Youth Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Capital District YSL, AAU Basketball
Carol Ryan
Senior Sales Associate, Director of Marketing
Carol brings over 12 years of experience in the Law field to her career with Empire Region Insurance Agency. As well as her duties as a top insurance broker, Carol also oversees the company's marketing efforts as the Director of Marketing.
Carol is a graduate of MVCC and holds a a degree in Criminal Justice, Past President Guilderland Girls Basketball Booster Club.
Brian Pezze
Senior Account Manager
Brian joined Empire Region Insurance Agency in 2010 after a career as a senior benefit specialist, coordinating Employee Benefits for New York State public and private sector groups. Brian is a senior sales executive with Empire Region Insurance Agency and also coordinates marketing campaigns with the marketing department.
Brian is a 2008 graduate of Siena College and holds a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and Management with a concentration in Management. Brian is a member of the American Marketing Association, Awarded New Agent of Year 2010, Commercial Lines Top Producer- December.
Tara Pezze
Sales Associate
Tara A. Pezze joined Empire Region Insurance Agency in 2012 as a sales producer handling auto, home, business, life and group health insurance. She brings 5 years experience from Northwestern Mutual Financial Network as a benefit specialist and recruiter. She was also an auto claim specialist for Progressive Insurance Co in Albany.
Tara is a 2007 graduate of Union College and holds a BA in Economics and History. She was a member of the women's basketball team from 2003-2005. She was also an active member of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life chapter at Union College as the Fundraising Chair, President and Co-Founder of Colleges Against Cancer.
Lora Kellogg
Account Representative
Joined Empire Region Insurance Agency in 2017 as a sales and service consultant with over 18 years experience. Also was department manager of Hallmark stores. She lives in Rotterdam, NY with her husband and son.
